la vie

I just posted on my music blog, so I thought I'd come over here and see what's going on.

Oh yeah. I haven't posted in over a year.

I'm not even sure who's still around. I shall try and figure that out tomorrow so I can visit some of you.

What's been going on since I last posted? Er. I don't even know.

Some highlights:

  • rediscovering my passion for musical theatre
  • completing my first NaNoWriMo!!!
  • taking an actual English class at a community college
  • becoming even more happy and comfortable in my queerness (read: sapphic desires)
  • joining my county's choir with my best friend (Most of the group is 50+ years old. It's amazing.)
  • still feeling lost in life, but having less heavy sad spells
That last one happened in the past month. He has been so much work, but so much fun.

His name's Pete and he's a cockapoo who is NOT AS INNOCENT AS HE LOOKS.

Okay, I'll go before I start complicating this simple update. I don't even know if anyone is around anymore. *waves hi anyway*

  1. I am so happy to hear about your highlights and what a cute puppy! Dogs really are life savers, they can be mischievous when they are little, but they grow up to be the best friends you'll have. I've been wanting a dog of my own for over a year now, but I just can't settle on a breed that would be perfect for me (that is, I have too many favourites).
I have a similar situation with my blog, I haven't posted there for ages and when I tried to start the new blog, it just didn't feel right. Maybe one day I'll return to blogging.
    *waving hi back*

    1. Thank you! I've never been much of a dog person (it's always been cats for me), but I am quickly becoming more of one than I used to be. :) Ahh, that would be difficult! For us the choice was pretty simple, because my dad has allergies we had to get a poodle mix because he doesn't have any (or much) reaction to them. I hope you are able to decide soon and quickly get one of these darling four-legged blessings. :')

Blogging is both hard to keep up and to quit, ha! I'd always love to read more from you, just so you know. xxxx

  2. I was so happy to see your name on my blog feed this morning.

    Miss you lots.

    1. Awww, Ashley! That made me smile. (And I was so happy to see a comment from you.)

I've missed you too! I'm so glad to see you're still around here. :) xoxox

  3. I vote for- your dog is innocent!

    1. HE HAS YOU DUPED, hehe. ;) If only I had gotten a picture of what he was carrying around earlier: a toilet bowl brush. -_- (It's so gross. But hilarious. He's so very naughty.)

  4. OMG YOU'RE BACK. PLEASE MAKE A HABIT OF THIS. Ahem, wait. I don't want to let the intimacy of our friendship ruin the public image of your blog, so I'll just write a generic comment. Welcome back. It sounds like you've been living a full and wholesome life. Your blog is beautiful. Please check out my blog. x

  5. HIYA DEAR! YES I'M BACK AND AWWW I MIGHT MAKE A HABIT OF IT, WHO KNOWS. :D *ahem* Yes. Decorum. Thank you, lovely. I'm so glad you dropped by. I'll be sure to check out your blog. ;) xxx

Silhouettes of a secret. A story told over a cuppa. Or perhaps just sitting on that stone bench, basking in the moonlight... and not saying anything at all.
